Final Week of 2016 - 2017

Wrestlers,

This is the final week of the season.  I need all wrestlers to work hard this week.  We have practice everyday this week until 5.

On Saturday, January 21, we have out IPAC tournament.  It is at Hubble.  This event takes a lot of people to make it run.  It is a wonderful end to a great sport.  I need all "A" wrestlers to report between 6:45 and 7 for weigh-ins.  I need all "B" wrestlers to show up around 9 or 9:30 to help run the tournament and watch the wrestling.  All wrestlers are responsible to be there to help clean up after the even is over.  The tournament will hopefully be done between 3 and 4.  There are a lot of factors so the time is just a guess.

Wrestling practice tomorrow

Don't forget that there is practice tomorrow at 11:30 at wwshs.  It will go until 1 and is in the wrestling room.   Hope you have had a great break.

Wrestling in December

Monday 12/12:  Practice 3 - 5:15
Tuesdsay 12/13:  Meet @ Indian Trail Junior High in Addison
Wednesday 12/14: Practice 3 - 5:15
Thursday 12/15: Meet @Hadley Junior High in Glen Ellyn
Friday 12/16: Meet @WWSHS versus Edison.  Wrestlers NEED to stay for the high school meet afterwards.  Parents need to pick up students from the high school.

Monday 12/19: Practice 3 - 4 only
Tuesday 12/20: NO PRACTICE

WINTER BREAK PRACTICES

Monday 1/2:  Practice @WWSHS from 11:30 - 1.  I will be there but the high school will run practice.

Friday:  Practice 3 - 3:15

Monday:  Practice 3 - 5:15

Tuesday:  WRESTLING MEET - HOME (vs. Jay Stream)

Wednesday:  Practice 3 - 5:15

Thursday:  WRESTLING MEET - HOME (vs. Jefferson)


Friday:  No Practice (Day Before Break)

MONDAY 11/21 - Practice at WWS 11:30 - 1.

Wrestling Practice - Week of 10/31 - 11/4

This is a crazy week because of lots of events outside of wrestling.  We will start passing out gear this week.  I must have all forms turned in and the fees paid before I can give you your gear.  You must have wrestling shoes and a headgear by this week or I may not let you wrestle in practice.

Monday:  NO PRACTICE (Halloween, enjoy your trick or treating time)

Tuesday:  Practice 3 - 5:15 (Tiger Club coaches will be there for extra opportunity)

Wednesday:  NO PRACTICE (I have parent/teacher conferences)

Thursday:  Practice 3 - 5:15 (Might do Challenges matches for A today)

Friday:  NO PRACTICE (I have meetings all day)

Wrestling Practice - Week of 10/24 - 10/28

Practice each day (Monday - Friday) 3 - 5:15.

Please be here no later than 5:30 to pick up your wrestler.  Also, I need the money in this week so that we can pass out uniforms next week.  The Fee is $125.  If you have any questions about the money please ask.  We will have a t-shirt sale later in the next couple of weeks.  Also, Tiger Wrestling Coaches will be here on Thursday to talk about an opportunity for more wrestling. It is not too late to join so get the word out to get more wrestlers out on the mat. 

Wrestling Practice - Week of 10/19 - 10/21

Wednesday 10/19
     This is the first practice of the year.  We will practice until 5:15.  Wrestlers will need a ride home.
     Make sure to have your physical, concussion, and permission slip on file.

Thursday 10/20
     Practice until 5:15.

Friday 10/21
     Practice until 5:15.
