2019 - 2020 Wrestling

The wrestling season is just around the corner.  You can start signing up today.  Just click on the Google Form link below.  You can sign up to show interest or officially join the team.  If you are planning on wrestling please get your sports physical into the nurse's office immediately.  6th graders don't have to worry because you have done this to go to school here.

Week of December 10, 2018

Don't Forget About Pictures on Thursday.  You need to bring the form filled out with money if you want to buy pictures.

The meet on Thursday will get started later than normal.  My guess is around 4:30.  Thompson is in St. Charles and that is a long drive for them.

Over the weekend we wrestled well in the Varsity tournament.  We had 2 champions, Brett Burgess and Luke Burgess, 2 second place finishes, Ben Westmaas and Theo Cullerton, 2 third place finishers, Max Schlegel and Jaidyn Buziecki, and 1 4th place finisher, Brandon Duran.  As a team we finished 4th place.

Huskies Secure 1st Dual Meet Win

Great job today wrestlers. We won 73 - 21 against Indian Trail Junior.  We won 12 of the 14 matches wrestled on varsity.   We will have 3 practices the rest of the week before out tournament on Saturday.  

Week of December 3, 2018

There is a tournament at Hubble on Saturday.  The A team will need to be here and stay until the end to help clean up after the tournament.  We will also set up the gym on Friday so if you can stay later than 4:15, until maybe 5 that would be helpful.

We only have 1 meet this week on Tuesday.  Indian Trial is in Addison off Army Trail Road.

Week of November 26, 2018

Due to the snow day there is no practice on Monday, November 26.

Meets start between 4 and 4:15.  They usually last about an hour.

Wrestlers can leave after we clean up the mats.  Parents are encouraged to attend the meets.
