Monday: Practice 3 - 5:15 Tuesday: Meet (Away) Against Monroe Wednesday: Practice 3 - 5:15 Thursday: Meet (Home) Against Indian Trails Friday: No Practice (Go home after School) Tuesday (12/22) There is practice at WWS from 11 - 12:30. We expect you to be there unless you are out of town.

Wrestling Schedule, Week of 12/7 - 12/12

MONDAY:  Practice 3 - 5:15.  There will be a couple of challenge matches for the "A" squad.

TUESDAY:  Home Meet against Jay Stream.

WEDNESDAY:  Practice 3 - 5:15.

THURSDAY:  Away Meet against Edison.  Meet is at Wheaton Warrenville South High School.  We will start at 4 and by done by 5.  Wrestlers should stay and watch the varsity match unless in orchestra.

FRIDAY:  Practice 3 - 5:15.  "A" wrestlers, if you are not there on Friday you will be replaced on Saturday.

SATURDAY:  IPAC Conference Tournament.  Wrestling starts around 8:30 or 9.  Should be done by 1.  We will take a bus as a team in the morning.  This is for "A" wrestlers only.

Thursday:  MEET (HOME) against St. Charles Thompson (They have a long drive to get here.)

TIGER CLUB

Any wrestlers you are interested in wrestling in the Tiger Club, needs to sign up by Sunday to get the proper gear ordered.  If you sign up after Sunday I am not sure what happens.  Contact the Tiger Club with any questions.  The link is on the right side.

Tiger club is different from our school wrestling program.  Their season extends on after our season and does end with an individual regional, section and state tournament.

Tuesday:  Practice as normal (3 - 5:15) - THIS IS A CHANGE from the original schedule.

Thursday:  Practice as normal (3 - 5:15) - THIS IS A CHANGE from the original schedule.

Friday:  NO PRACTICE (GO HOME AFTER SCHOOL)

* NEXT MONDAY (11/23)  There is practice at the WWS's wrestling room from 11 am - 12:30 pm.

Rotolo Meet

Hubble lost a tough "A" squad meet today.  We lost 50 - 58 but won the matches wrestled.  We gave up 18 points on forfeits but were able to keep the match close.  For the first meet of the year, everyone wrestled hard, didn't quit, and showed that they have been learning at practice.  Good job wrestlers.

We have practice Wednesday and Thursday this week.  No practice Friday because there is no school.

No Practice Monday

There will be no practice Monday, November 9 because we have conferences.  Out first meet is Tuesday at Rotolo.  Wrestlers will take a bus from Hubble to Rotolo.  Practices are are normal on Wednesday and Thursday.

Meet Changes

We have had a change in date on 2 meets and a change in place for the IPAC tournament.  NEW schedules are available.

Wrestling Meeting

Wrestlers, there is a meeting next Wednesday (10/21) from 3 - 4pm in the commons area.  If you can't make it let a coach know.  The first practice is Monday (10/26) in the east gym.  If you have questions talk to Mr. Squillo or Mr. Gassen.

3 weeks

Wrestling starts in 3 weeks.  Make sure that you have a current sports physical on file.  If you are not sure if you do check with the nurse.  If you sign up ahead of time, a coach will check for you and let you know if you need any paper work.  Questions, ask coach Squillo or coach Gassen.

One Month Until Wrestling

There is about one month until the start of wrestling practice.  If you are interesting in wrestling do the following:

• Make sure you have a current physical (It needs to be dated after February 1st to wrestle)

• Go to the Hubble Middle School Website and print out the concussion and parent information forms.  Have them filled out and signed.

• Fill out the 2015 sign - up form

• Get your wrestling gear (Wrestling Shoes and Headgear)
• If you are still unsure you can practice in clean gym shoes for 1 week.

Start of the Season

Wrestling is going to start on Monday October 26.  There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday October 21.  The meeting is right after school and is only for the wrestlers.  If you can't make the meeting see Mr. Squillo or Mr. Gassen for the information.  In order to practice you need to have an updated SPORTS PHYSICAL.  Wrestling is a no cut sport.  In order to join you just have to show up, have the paperwork completed, and be willing to work hard.
