WWSHS WRESTLING
SUMMER CAMP

The camp will focus on wrestling techniques
and skills and the athletes will have
an opportunity to compete in live situations.

When:  M, T, W, T, F for the weeks of June 11 and June 18.

Time:  Incoming 6th - 8th Graders - 8:00 am - 9:00 am

   Incoming 9th Graders - 7:00 am - 8:00 am

Where:  WWSHS Wrestling Room

This camp will not interfere with any other camps
that the wrestlers can do.

Hope you had a good holiday break so far.   Don't forget we have practice at WWSHS from 9-10:30.  Try to make sure you have a practice partner.   Make sure your rides are there on time.

Wrestling Has Started!

Mr. Hillen and Mr. Gassen are excited about the start of the new season.  Wrestlers need to get their physicals in to practice.  All other paper needs to get in to wrestle in meets.  It is not too late to join, so encourage your friends to come and help us become a powerhouse in middle school wrestling.

First Practice of 2017

The 2017 - 2018 Hubble Wrestling Schedule is almost complete.  The most important date is the first day of practice.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 25

Practice will be from 3 - 5:15 in the small gym.  Wrestlers must have a current physical on file, a parent permission form filled out, and signed concussion form. There is a $125 fee for wrestling, can be paid by 11/2/17.  If you know that you are going to wrestle, get the forms in now.  On the right is a link to the forms that you will need.

If you have any conflicts, talk to a coach about working out a schedule that will work for each activity.

Welcome!

Welcome to the 2017 - 2018 School Year!   Wrestling will begin near the end of the first quarter.  Wrestling is 1 of 2 sports open to all grades.  This is an interscholastic sport which means we will wrestle other schools in the area.  There are 19 weight classes from 70 pounds to 175 pounds.  That means that is lots of opportunity to wrestle and we will need a lot of boys to join to help us out.  The beauty of wrestling is that you wrestle as an individual but are still part of a team.  If you have any questions you can ask myself, Mr. Gassen, or Mr. Hillen.
